We invite you to pray with us for the people of the Amazon. Here are some specific ways that you can pray.
In Romans, Paul writes, "My heart is filled with bitter sorrow and unending grief for my people, my Jewish brothers and sisters. I would be willing to be forever cursed—cut off from Christ!—if that would save them" (Romans 9:2-3). May we all be moved with that same compassion, willing to lay down everything so that those who do not know Jesus will hear the Gospel and give their lives to Him.
Amazon Hope believes in making disciples. We partner with local pastors who have a heart for sharing the Gospel and planting churches in new communities. Will you pray that Amazon Hope continues to strengthen current relationships and build new relationships with local pastors, churches, and villages? Pray that we are identify ways we can support and help others grow in their relationship with Jesus.
God can take a little and multiply it far beyond what our human minds can comprehend. Faithful gifts, will be used to advance the Kingdom. Financial gifts send people, supply medical care, provide essential items to people on the Amazon, pay for boat repairs, and so much more. Generosity in financial giving allows Amazon Hope to carry out the Great Commission in Brazil. Please pray that people would support Amazon Hope financially.
For the souls we will encounter on the Amazon, pray for their hearts to be ready to hear the Good News and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Pray that missionaries and local believers on the Amazon would share their faith with BOLDNESS and remember that the Holy Spirts dwells inside them, empowering them to tells others the Good News.
Our desire is that everything we do and say points back to Jesus. Pray that every person who serves with Amazon Hope will make much of Jesus and glorify God in all things. He alone is worthy.
